The main advantage is that they eliminate the extra cost of keeping 40-50 gallons of water hot in a storage tank, so you waste less energy. Electric tankless water heaters are designed according to the amount of hot water required at peak use times. The water heater has a series of heating elements that are activated based on the demand. As water demand increases more elements are activated. This is different from an electric tank water heater where the elements are never on at the same time. Joe was timely, friendly, and the mechanical repair was performed on our shower mixer as requested. I am holding back the fifth star due to the finishing. The old caulk was not completely removed from the faucet trim, the new caulk was not applied thoroughly, and plumbers putty waste was left in the tub and on the fixture. Otherwise, good experience.
