About Our Company
Since 1983, Staton Heating, Cooling & Plumbing has been providing trusted service to homeowners in Central Maryland.
As a family-owned and operated company, we understand the importance of treating you like family while inside your home. "Family" is also the impetus for our new design that pays homage to our past and present, featuring founder, William L. Staton, and his son and current owner Will F. Staton. Family is such a huge part of who we are, so it only felt right to make this the focus of our brand and position ourselves as the family that takes care of yours.
We are committed to offering you a five-star service experience every time, because here at Staton, we know that building relationships is as significant as the work we do. STATON ORIGIN
In 1983, William. L Staton, Master Plumber and Gasfitter, opened his plumbing company in Anne Arundel County. Since then, Staton has been committed to meeting customers’ needs and providing services that are at a level above and beyond other providers. The goal of the company is to provide people-focused experiences, delivering exceptional heating, cooling, and plumbing solutions to our customers. All Staton work is guaranteed by The Staton Family Promise. The technicians are certified, and the company is licensed, insured and bonded.
William F. Staton, W L.’s son, also a Master Plumber and Gasfitter, assumed the day-to-day operating responsibilities of Staton in 2012, so his dad could enjoy some time off. Since that time, Will F. has exponentially grown the business. The family and team at Staton understood the synergies between plumbing, heating and cooling, so an HVAC division was started in 2021. It has grown by leaps and bounds and enables Staton to provide even more extensive and exemplary service to their customer base. In 2024, the company updated its branding to better reflect the family-oriented service culture they've been providing for over 40 years.

Robert and Logan were great! They installed a new state-of-the-art hot water heater and a utility tub. Robert explained everything and provided troubleshooting suggestions for a flawless plumbing experience. We are very happy with WL Staton for providing us with an expert in his field. They will be our first choice in plumbing and HVAC needs! Review #2: Robert came back today to install a new pressure tank. He was (again) professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. We are new to the area and could not be more pleased with all our services( new hot water heater, new utility sink and now a pressure tank). Shawn came to our house today to fix multiple old pipes that started leaking. He was quick, efficient, and super friendly! He explained everything and we always feel the pricing with this company is more than reasonable. They have great financing options as well. My husband and I have used Staton for multiple issues that have come up around our home and have never been disappointed. We would 100% recommend anyone use this company for any heating, cooling, or plumbing issues!

I’m waiting for the house to warm up. The unit is running & Rodney explained everything very nicely. He showed me the new Heating unit and the outside Heat pump and explained how everything was connected. The team worked very hard to make sure everything looked nice and fit in with our already existing system. Having an older home usually makes renovations difficult but Rodney handled everything like The professional he is. The job was started and finished in one day and everything has been cleaned up. I am very satisfied with the work that was done And I’m looking forward to many years of warmth in the winter and cool in the summer

We were not a customer and needed help with Bosch heat pump that stopped working . Our current service provider said they couldnt get to us until Saturday (this is thursday) and it would be higher rates for weekend service calls. Called Stanton around 9 am thursday , they scheduled us for 12-4 , then called and said they had someone that could come out. We got a text ,and an email in addition to the call with details about the tech including bio and photo! Jesse showed up at about 1030 and in a few minutes identified the problem and corrected some other issues as well and was done by 12:00. We cant say enough about Jesse , polite , professional and knowledgeable. Their customer service person was excellent as well . We will now be switching to Stanton as our HVAC service provider. The entire process was fantastic!
