Our experienced technicians at Staton Heating, Cooling & Plumbing can check your well water for pH levels, iron, and mineral content, which can cause long-term damage. We can provide you with the appropriate system if you have tested your water and are looking for well water treatment.

Testing Your Well Water For Iron & PH Level

Detecting iron in water as well as pH level is important since it can cause yellow, red, and brown stains on laundry, dishes, and plumbing fixtures.

Here are some of the common indicators to look for if you are concerned about your well water:

  • It tastes metallic or smells bad
  • Has a discolored appearance
  • Sink or bathtub gets an orange or rusty ring
  • Clothes and dishes stained brown or yellow

Get Well Water Treatment From Staton Heating, Cooling & Plumbing

Well water treatment options vary widely depending on your home’s needs. In addition to removing contaminants from drinking water, water treatment protects plumbing systems from corrosion and can improve the water’s overall taste.

Feel free to contact our team of experts if you need help choosing the right well water treatment system for your home.

Choosing the Right Water Filtration System

Physical barriers are used to remove impurities from water during the filtering process. Among the most common water filtration systems are:

  • A reverse osmosis system uses pressure to force water through a membrane casing. This reduces the concentration of heavy metals, including copper, chromium, and lead, in water.
  • A carbon filter improves the taste and clarity of water by removing certain impurities. Due to its porous nature, activated carbon traps certain particles.

Water Softeners For Well Water Treatment

Water softeners are typically used when filtration systems cannot alter the hardness of the water. By removing the calcium and magnesium ions the water softener decreases the hardness of the well water.

In the three very different plumbing issues I’ve called on Joe Fanning to save me from, he’s proven he’s a great plumber, and seemingly an even better human being. I hope W.L Stanton realizes what an asset he is to their company… I’ll always call their number and ask for him for my plumbing needs.

We reached out W.L. Stanton for some problems with our ejector pump and they were very responsive. The team did an awesome job replacing a unit that had been there for 30+ years. They were extra careful to make sure that the work area and the rest of our home wasn’t impacted by what can often be a very “dirty job.” Greatly appreciated their promptness and transparency on cost.

A very knowledgeable technician. Polite and courteous and willing to explain everything so I knew what was going to be done. Did an excellent job and left the area clean and tidy. All in all a very good experience and I will recommend W. L. Staton to anyone. Like that the company sends you a picture of the technician coming to do the work. Thought the price for the work was responsible and well explained. Justin returned to install a new water softener which was an all day job. Again, everything done correctly and with care and explanation. Staton is fortunate to have him as one of their technicians. Justin takes his job very seriously and does excellent work. The company is a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them.
