Once again, Staton Plumbing and heating you have sent another caring technician. Plumber Josh Starlings came out to check two major issues. One issue required immediate attention and the other I decided to wait until I had my thorough inspection with Staton. Afterwards, I explained to Josh that I had some concerns about the pipes that were running throughout the home. Josh immediately agreed to check the crawl space to give the pipes a check. While checking it was discovered that there was water running that could not be explained without further investigation. I really appreciate that Josh took his time to listen and check to see where the water was coming from. Josh treated the situation with care. He explained everything that was taking place as well as provided me with photos of the issue. Josh was able to take care of the problem to my satisfaction. A+ to you Josh Starlings for being an A-1 Technician!

My technicians were Keith and Allen. From the moment they entered my home they explained in detail the work that was going to take place. They even provided photos. The price quoted was exactly what I was asked to pay except for the discount that was provided. I was never pressured to purchase additional services. Just paid over $400 (even with coupon) for the plumber to literally turn my water heater off and on (similar to a light switch). That was the “diagnostic fee.” The tech was courteous but I still don’t know exactly what is wrong with my heater! Just that it’s older… which I knew. Additionally, I believe folks should know this company may not be the ones to call if you’re not rich and you’re experiencing a plumbing emergency. Prices are outrageous! I think it would have been fair to recognize that it was such a simple job and reduce the fee. That would have been stellar customer service. Update: This company reached out to explain that they didn’t feel like the service I received was up to their standards. They are refunding some of the diagnostic fee and sending out another technician to take a look at my water heater. Changing my review to 5 stars! Clearly this is a company that cares about their reputation.

Could not have asked for better service. From call to serviceman arrival was less than 1 hour. Part that needed replacing was installed first thing the next morning. My servicemen, Luke and his partner were stellar. Highly recommend their service!

If you want your plumbing problems to be a little less painful then call Staton. Last night we had what we thought was a normal clogged toilet. This morning we quickly found both of our toilets leaking and both showers with standing water. Instant stress and worry. How bad is it? How much will this cost? How quickly can we get help? Enter Staton. I called them this morning and they were able to get us in for a same-day appointment. Rob showed up 90 minutes after my call and immediately put us at ease. He was really friendly, knowledgeable and took the time to answer questions. After his thorough cleaning, Anthony arrived for the camera inspection. Unfortunately, that showed an issue with the back water valve, but Anthony explained the problem, the solution and prepared a quote we can submit to our insurance. He provided great support for what could have been an overwhelming situation. Despite the outcome being worse than we hoped, everyone at Staton has been great from the first phone call. They're very proactive about contacting you and making sure you're prepared for your appointment. We have their number saved for the future now. Picture taken during cleaning, not after 😉

Update 2/25 - We just finished a 4-system dual fuel HP Trane system install in Bethesda, MD with WL Staton. Let me just say this. It is very difficult to find a good HVAC company nowadays, with how many there are and so many opinions; however, your search should end here, and let me explain why. Even if you spend the time diligently researching products and interviewing contractors (good salesmen), at the end of the day it comes down to the quality of the installation when determining how well your system will function and how long it will last. Proper sizing and following through with best practices are key components to a new system's longevity and reliability. This company has apprentices that do top-notch work and could almost do full installations themselves. The lead installers are beyond professional in terms of their quality of work and attention to detail. I have seen it because I have done business with them multiple times, working with several of their employees on various jobs, and they have always come through with top-notch work and have handled any special requests with professionalism. After all, the majority of HVAC system installations are retrofits and are rather custom, especially on older homes. Installing an HVAC system is a LOT of work, and it requires a great level of skill and TIME. I have a great appreciation for this industry and the people who do things right for the benefit of their customers and the equipment. This company's employees use all the right modern tools, equipment and procedures to install your system perfectly from the start, according to manufacturer's instructions. I would like everyone to know that you will not be making a mistake by going with this company at all. Original Review: They did a remarkable job with a Trane dual fuel heat pump installation in Annapolis, MD. Very clean and professional work. System performs flawlessly. You can tell they take pride in doing great work. Derick the salesman was everything you could ask for in a sales rep - humble, good listener, not overselling, just overall a great experience from start to finish. UPDATE 10/24: They recently completed another full installation for my cousin in Potomac, MD. As a commercial HVAC/controls engineer, I know about the importance of top-notch work when it comes to installation, from longevity and reliability standpoints. These guys nail every aspect of it. They installed all equipment strictly "by the books." Very impressed by the workmanship and clear attention to detail with their installation crew and process. All of their employees were so friendly and cordial throughout the process. Not every company knows how to both commission and configure equipment once installed, but these folks do, and they do so very well. They flow nitrogen while brazing (very important, not everyone does), configure all furnace airflow/gas pressure settings to your home's needs, perform load calculations when warranted, and the list goes on. You will not be displeased with their services! The quality speaks for itself. Finding this company has been like finding a gold mine honestly. Hard to come by these days. So glad they service a wide area in MD.

Joe T came out for a new service call for a leak repair and additional plumbing work. Joe did a great job repairing the leak and replacing faucets, shower heads and the inside water shut off valve. This was our second time using Staton and they came out the same day and kept me informed as to when Joe was on the way. The customer service is excellent from the initial call and scheduling all the way through completion.

Discovered a leak in my water heater and called Staton. They quickly dispatched Brandon to the house and he assessed the situation. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. He was patient in explaining the situation and the steps needed to address the issue. Due to the age of the water heater and the leak the resolution was replacement. The following day Brandon showed his professionalism not only by the quality and cleanliness of his work removing the old water heater and replacing it with a new one but also taking the time to go over the new water heater to ensure that I was knowledgeable of its functionality. This isn't the first time I have used this company and it will not be the last.

Brandon from Staton plumbing arrived at my home exactly on time he came into the house and looked over the entire situation I had. at one point, he went into the laundry room to show me the type of pipes that I have in my house. These pipes were exposed, and he found another leak from a pipe coming down my wall that I would never have found until it flooded the basement. he fixed both of my problems. He was very professional. He answered all my questions and I would never use another plumbing company except for Staton. if Brandon is the type of plumbers that staton has they are very lucky company

We had a great experience with Staton Heating, Cooling and Plumbing this week. This was our first experience with the Staton Team (Rodney, Antonio and Tito). Their task was to replace a failing gas furnace and AC. They were prompt, well mannered, respectful of our property and did a fabulous job. The Stanton team did an incredible job in fixing our water line leak and installing a backlog valve between our sprinkler line and broader water line inside the house. When we called them to get an estimate to repair the water line leak a technician was able to come out same day and give us an estimate. Once we agreed, they got us on their schedule as quickly as possibly and were very communicative with us which helped give us peace of mind during an emergency situation. When they came to conduct the repairs they walked us through what they'd do, what they'd try if they encounter any issues, and did a great job taking pictures and videos as they completed work so I could send that to my insurance company for the claim. This is honestly one of the best experiences I've had working with contractors of any sort and not only would I 100% use them again, I'd recommend them to others.

Jeff is a treasure. He came out the same day I called to evaluate our water pressure issue. He diagnosed the problem and felt it needed immediate repair. He and his son, Brandon, also a treasure, returned the next day which was Saturday. They were here most of the day replacing the well pump and holding tank and making all necessary repairs. They are always so thorough, meticulous and professional in addition to being very pleasant folks. I feel so blessed to know them.

I’m waiting for the house to warm up. The unit is running & Rodney explained everything very nicely. He showed me the new Heating unit and the outside Heat pump and explained how everything was connected. The team worked very hard to make sure everything looked nice and fit in with our already existing system. Having an older home usually makes renovations difficult but Rodney handled everything like The professional he is. The job was started and finished in one day and everything has been cleaned up. I am very satisfied with the work that was done And I’m looking forward to many years of warmth in the winter and cool in the summer

We were not a customer and needed help with Bosch heat pump that stopped working . Our current service provider said they couldnt get to us until Saturday (this is thursday) and it would be higher rates for weekend service calls. Called Stanton around 9 am thursday , they scheduled us for 12-4 , then called and said they had someone that could come out. We got a text ,and an email in addition to the call with details about the tech including bio and photo! Jesse showed up at about 1030 and in a few minutes identified the problem and corrected some other issues as well and was done by 12:00. We cant say enough about Jesse , polite , professional and knowledgeable. Their customer service person was excellent as well . We will now be switching to Stanton as our HVAC service provider. The entire process was fantastic!

Our water stopped working on a snowy Friday night — a disaster! But only until Saturday morning, when we met master plumber Keith Turner. Keith calmly fixed everything! It’s rare to find someone like that — boy, were we lucky.

He took the time to explain everything and ensured that along with the new pump he made adjustments to our system to prevent this issue in the future. We also appreciate Stephanie’s efforts to get a technician to us in less than 24 hours after our call. We felt the price for the repair was fair, and Matt ensured we received the current $75 coupon for plumbing work. Tony & Antonio did an guys job despite the challenges of a 50 year old furnace 15 year old water heater, & "interesting" work by whoever walked in the utility room. They made everything work. Thank you to then and the company for arranging things around weather problems.

From the online scheduling, then Steve the technician that came out to see about the repair of our furnace everything was good. Unfortunately we got the bad news that our furnace had to be replaced. Then Derick came out to give us an estimate for the furnace replacement. Stanton really worked with us and made this purchase an easy decision. We were scheduled for a next day Saturday install. Justin came out, he didn’t have a problem with me observing him while he did his job. After he was finished, he gave us a great overview of our new furnace and all the features of it. I would highly recommend Steve, Derick, and Justin from Stanton any HVAC needs.

Stephen and team came in with care by covering their shoes before moving about the house. They took the time to hear my concerns. Not only asking follow up questions but listening to my issues. Stephen did a complete review of the plumbing- testing and reviewing all accessible points before diagnosis and then solved my immediate plumbing issues in addition to discovery smaller issues that could be fixed at the same time. For my first time using Staton I am completely satisfied with the high level of service. I will use this company again and I would welcome Stephen and crew again.

Staton Heating’s technician, Trace was great! He arrived on time and explained everything that needed to be done to fix our heater. After the part was ordered, he drove out in the snow storm to fix our unit and make sure we weren’t stuck in a cold house. I really appreciate their expertise and customer service. Staton is great! They showed up when 2 other big companies did not. We were without water 1 day before a big snow storm. Luke showed up and figured out what needed to be done pretty quickly. They had our water back on by the afternoon. Forgot to mention we are on a septic and well system. We will definitely use them again!

Yesterday upon awakening, I found that all three of my toilets were not functioning. After finding out that Staton Heating, Cooling and Plumbing had plumbers that did Main Line Cleaning, 90 minutes later Joe from Staton was at my house, and after an hour and a half, had all toilets functioning. Joe was very knowledgeable and professional, and explained everything to me, which was greatly appreciated. I found that I needed a new toilet as well, and Joe was able to provide me with an estimate right away. I most appreciated Staton's prompt response, and the expertise that Joe has. I have already recommended Joe and Staton to friends !

Experienced a "flood" of water pouring from under my sink while doing dinner dishes. I placed a service call to Staton at 7 a.m. the next morning and was scheduled for 8am-12 noon. I noticed a second leak today. I contacted Staton immediately. The dispatcher was courteous and professional- asked if I was available today and sent out a technician. Jarrell arrived within the time stated, identified the issue and was able to complete the necessary repairs. Awesome customer service, attention to detail and answered questions that I had. I'm very satisfied with the work Staton has done on my home.

Matt McClure introduced himself and then proceeded to assess the repair and to explain our options. He was efficient and attentive to details. Not only did he fix the problem but also made our kitchen sink look and work better by installing the new faucet on this visit instead of coming back on the 9th as was previously scheduled. He definitely understands how to talk to people and has pride in doing a job well.

I had a new HVAC installed by Staton about 2 weeks ago. I was impressed by them throughout the whole process. The initial assessment was explained clearly to me. They worked with my schedule throughout. They also made sure everything was working properly before they declared completion. Had they not done so, they would not have found out the new unit was defective under the normal operation and they replaced it again right away. With all unexpected events, everything was completed professionally and in a reasonable time frame.

Vince was awesome. He came out to fix an emergency problem and made the whole process stress free. He was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I had great communication from Kristen, who arranged my appointment. She kept me in the loop throughout the process. If needed I will be calling back.

We had an issue with a broker sewage pump in the basement on a Saturday morning. Called Staton and my technician, Joe Fanning was here in less than 30 minutes. We were extremely happy with Joe’s professionalism and can do work ethic. He diagnosed the problem very quickly and explained all our options. Now things are working well and the bad smell is starting to dissipate. We wholeheartedly recommend Staton for all plumbing issues.

Staton Plumbing did a great job all the way through the process from ,scheduling, estimating and completing the work. Frank was asked to modify some pipe configurations to accommodate a new electronic shower system. Frank was efficient in getting the old system removed and installing the new system. Frank was respectful keeping mess to a minimum and completed the job as expected. I could not have asked for a better experience.

The install crew was faced with an unforeseen situation which they overcame quickly and professionally.

Any HVAC issues can be stressful but it’s extra stressful when it happens during the winter with 30 degree temperatures. Not to mention my HVAC system is 20+ years old. My heat suddenly went out on a Sunday. I called Staton Heating, Cooling & Plumbing because of their reviews. I’d had never heard of this company before and was a little worried I’d be paying a lot of money for an emergency call. The dispatch was very courteous & assured me they would send some in 45 mins. I was sent an email with a picture and name of the technician I should be expecting. Technician Aaron Simon arrived on time. His professionalism was remarkable.He tentatively listen to my concerns and quickly but proficiently diagnosed the problem. He thoroughly explained the problem, the solution and the cost to fix it. Even though my issue couldn’t be resolved the same day because a part needed to be ordered, Mr Simon reassured me he would make every effort to fix my problem as quickly as possible. He even offered to bring me some space heaters if it took more than 24- 48 hours to get the part. I was very impressed by the extent he and his company would take to make me feel like a valued customer. Monday morning I received a call from the scheduler and Ms Simon had my heat up and running by the afternoon. I am extremely pleased with the transparency and the level of service I received. I highly recommend Staton Heating, Cooling and Plumbing. Thank you Mr. Aaron Simon for taking care of me and making me feel like a valued customer.

After years of nursing my oil fueled boiler to health every winter, it was finally time to replace the system. Staton recommended and installed a gas fed Combi boiler. This freed up a ton of space in my basement and provided me with peace of mind regarding safety and reliability. Our installation team of Mike and Gabe worked magic with the myriad of pipes necessary to complete the conversion and left a professional installation and a clean workspace behind. I highly recommend their expertise and workmanship.

You know, sometimes people surprise you. Most people dealing with contractors expect the worst. That is, less than good service at more than you care to pay! J.T., with Staton Plumbing and HVAC, is an exception for me. My job was replacement of a damaged toilet floor flange, cast iron over 40 years old. I do most of my home improvements from years of home ownership. I knew I could not do this job at my age. J.T. labored till it was complete and in great shape. It was a refreshing experience for me and a tribute to J.T.'s character. The cost was not cheap, but the end result was worth it. Thanks to J.T. and Staton. He is what consumers need when this type of work is needed. Good job. George I will use Staton again for other jobs.
