From the moment I called Staton about my air conditioner needing repair I felt that I was in good, capable hands. Josh S initially came out to do the diagnostic on my unit. He was incredibly knowledgeable about my particular HVAC system, he was kind and patient in answering my questions. Josh also addressed an issue I had been having with my two toilets. Per my request, the needed work was completed by Josh S, and I couldn't be more pleased. I have such peace of mind about the work that was done, and about Staton Heating, Cooling & Plumbing as a whole. The customer service is impeccable. The customer service representatives are so personable and responsive to your needs. I also spoke with Adam in another department, as I had a question about my bill, also a pleasure to speak with and my question was promptly resolved. I will certainly be using Staton going forward.

This visit was because of a 'user error'... after some quick investigating on a Sunday afternoon, a pressure relief valve was found to be stuck. Technician Jason was friendly and happy that the problem solved itself! No charge, but earning future business!

I was so excited to get same day service on a Friday afternoon after discovering I had no hot water. Matt was assigned to assist me with my issue. He was so thorough and explained everything he was going to do. He gave me various options to fix the issues and considered my financial position. Absolutely terrific service. We recently purchased an aging cottage. JT gave us a complete evaluation and explanation of our plumbing and water system. Tony had previously come through with a snake camera and explained our full drain and septic system status. Aaron serviced our HVAC and taught us about nuances of the fancy thermostat. We got a listing of potential repairs/upgrades, very honest prioritization and listing of alternatives. We felt no pressure to do anything not absolutely needed. Strongly recommend Staton.

I had Alan and nick for an emergency line replacement. These guys were professional and very intelligent. They not only replaced the line but checked to make sure there were no other leaks in my home giving me peace of mind. They cleaned up well and managed to save my pine panel wall

Cristian was very friendly and helpful during his service visit even thought he had to give me bad news about my AC unit. He was detail oriented when explaining the issues and helped me schedule a follow up appointment.

Edit: This company is amazing and really pour back to the community. Today we had the Trio Chip, Graig and Jake come in and install a new HVAC system in our home, not only did they arrive on time, but they were knowledgeable, efficient and great at their job. They were so nice and talked me through the process, they just had all around great customer service, they even went as far as to look into a pipe that was leaking and was able to fix it the same day. I also got to meet Will Staton, really nice and funny man with a great personality to back up a great company, even talked about their free ice cream truck. I would hands down recommend this company and recommend the trio. My home finally feels comfortable again, thank you to the whole Staton Crew. Andrew was prompt and very nice. He came in and checked our HVAC unit for us and gave me a detailed explanation of the issues. Thank you Andrew. Also would recommend Staton, they promptly answer calls and were able to schedule service quickly. We were promptly updated on when they would arrive and kept in the loop of scheduling.

Adding to this first review as I can't figure out how to creat a new review. We had a leak from a corroded hole in a 50 year old cast iron sewer pipe. Staton came out and gave us a free estimate. They quoted $2800 for the repair, but ended up only charging $2300 as Noah (our plumber) didn't need as much material as his original estimate. I mean WOW! Noah's main objective was to make the repair at the LEAST COST AND INCONVENIENCE to us! Staton could have charged us the full estimate and we would have paid it, and gladly. So, if you are looking for an honest, professional, and just plain kind plumbing company Staton should be your first pick!!! Patrick was great! We had an emergency water heater leak at 6 PM. He was here in less than an hour, drained the tank and we'll get our new water heater next day. We joined their monthly customer club for $18/month and saved $700 + 15%. Staton was a real like saver. They saved our basement!!

He is an excellent technician who diagnoses the problems quickly and goes above and beyond in service.

Josh did an amazing job switching out our very large electric hot water heater with a new gas-fueled tankless system. He had to vent through the side of the house, attach an acid neutralization filter and run-off, extend the gas line and build a wall to mount it all. The result was a beautifully organized system that works efficiently throughout the house. Josh was professional and communicated well before, during and after the installation. He took pride in the installation and we are really happy with the result. Highly recommend Josh and Staton!

Mr. Fanning was very good. Professional. Patient. He was at my home on April 13th. He called ahead to confirm my appointment and the reason for the repair visit. Mr. Fanning gave me an arrival time update, and he arrived on time. He snaked the drain pipe that is connected from the outside into the kitchen under the sink. He replaced the PVC pipe P trap and tail piece that is connected to that drain pipe. This resolved the problem of the water standing in my sink and very slowly draining. This also resolved a leak at connection between the sink drain and the P trap. Upon completion of the work, Mr. Fanning told me to call Staton if there’s any problem with the repair he completed. Staton service has a one year warranty and they will return to fix the problem free of charge. It’s been 6 days since he completed the repair. The water drains from the sink immediately and there have been no leaks. Thank you!

After receiving a much higher quote from another company. From start to finish, Justin was incredibly professional and attentive. He took the time to explain the issues with my system and the necessary repairs, ensuring I felt informed and comfortable with the process. His friendly demeanor and expertise made the experience enjoyable, and I truly appreciated the care he took in his work. I highly recommend Justin and Staton for any HVAC needs—he exceeds expectations and truly values his customers.

I called W.L. Staton Plumbing with a leaky washer hookup issue and they gave me a four hour window (same day). The tech, TJ, showed up an hour after I had called and assessed the issue. He outlined the work (and price) that needed to be done. All work was completed and once finished the area was spotless and fully cleaned. TJ was very professional and accommodating with the few questions that I asked. Excellent! Ok

Cristian came over this morning to do an annual Spring HVAC tuneup and inspection. He perform diagnostic on the whole system and explained everything what he did. Very thorough. I like that.

Josh Sneed was excellent. Prompt, friendly, confident and knowledgeable. He found that the a/c was not working properly because a prior technician accident disconnected a wire to the compressor. So there was no charge at all.

Robert was called to replace the anode in my water heater. He immediately observed that the expansion tank was installed on the wrong pipe. He replaced the expansion tank on the correct pipe, installed the anode, and flushed the tank. Great job.

Got a decent price on a complete efficient heat pump system and water heater replacement. Based on cleanliness of wiring, etc, the team takes pride in their work!

Staton is top-notch. All of their staff are personable, professional, hardworking and knowledgeable. They go to great lengths to make sure that their customers are completely satisfied. They have done multiple tricky projects for me in my historic home in downtown Annapolis and conceived some extremely innovative solutions to unique and challenging issues. They are intimately familiar with the Annapolis permitting process. One particularly difficult project that involved moving a 120-year-old radiator and trying to retrofit a washer and dryer into my historic home was flawlessly executed for me. I definitely recommend Staton and think very highly of the manager Ryan who has over seen the projects for my home.

WL Staton was the only place to call me back in a prompt manner. They are the only one who came out to look and speak to me face to face. And Sam, the tech that showed up, was nothing short of amazing. He walked me through the process, made sure I was comfortable and had answered all of my questions. Were they the least expensive, no. But in my opinion it was worth it. It was not a contractor grade heater and Sam was a pro during every step of the way! Would definitely use them again and request Sam!

Mike Leedy went above and beyond on this service call. Technicians like him will keep customers coming back. Truly a wonderful experience all around.

I’ve had Staton come to my home for both HVAC and plumbing maintenance/repair over the past year. Service has been excellent every time. The technicians let me know what was necessary and what was trivial; I never felt like they were trying to pressure me into anything. Most recently, Jason came out for a plumbing follow-up to replace a hose bib in our finished basement, which required cutting into the drywall. He did a great job covering up the hole in the drywall with an access panel; it looks like it has always been there. I’ll definitely be using Staton for future HVAC and plumbing services.

Jerrell (Jor-El) is a fantastic plumber and a great person to boot. Highly recommend having him over to do the high-quality work that he’s obviously capable of. Thank you very much Jerrell! Matt Kramer came to do some work yesterday, it was very high-quality and I genuinely enjoyed chatting with Matt while he worked. Matt seems to be a very experienced plumber who had nothing but excellent things to say about working at Staton. I think it’s important to note that he said that Staton is an excellent business to work for. Any company that treats their employees this well, he’s gonna have my business going forward.

Our water heater all of the sudden stopped working and we had water dripping out the bottom. We were able to get a tech the same day. Sam was amazing, he taught us about the new water heater as he was installing it and we had a really good conversation throughout. Would give him 6 stars of I could.

Steve did an excellent cooling and heating inspection cleaned the evaporator coil, installed an evaporator drain safety switch and applied corrosion grenade.

Staton is top-notch. All of their staff are personable, professional, hardworking and knowledgeable. They go to great lengths to make sure that their customers are completely satisfied. They have done multiple tricky projects for me in my historic home in downtown Annapolis and conceived some extremely innovative solutions to unique and challenging issues. They are intimately familiar with the Annapolis permitting process. One particularly difficult project that involved moving a 120-year-old radiator and trying to retrofit a washer and dryer into my historic home was flawlessly executed for me. I definitely recommend Staton and think very highly of the manager Ryan who has over seen the projects for my home.

So grateful that I chose Staton for our plumbing emergency. They were able to send a plumber out within an hour of us calling. Jason arrived, he was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and thorough with the resolution of the issue. I discovered a leak in my pipes behind the wall. I called Staton and they came out right away. Wes came to the house and was able to locate the leak (we did lose some drywall as expected) and fixed it in a day. Wes’ experience showed-he was professional, knowledgeable, thorough and has a great sense of humor. Next time we use Staton we will be requesting him.

First time homeowner and our HVAC system decided it was its time. Stanton’s team was not only able to come take a look same day, but was also able to give us a quote for a new system, get an installation appointment set up and the install completed all within a three day period. The team of Justin and Darrius did an outstanding job installing my new furnace and air conditioning unit as well as a new thermostat. They arrived on time and got right to work. After working most of the day and completing the work, Justin showed me the two new units, which I'm very happy with. He also showed me how to use the new thermostat. I've used the Staton company before and have always been happy with the work that is done. That is why I gave 5 stars and recommend them as a reliable company.

Last night I had no water when I took my shower. Staton’s was here this morning and replaced my water system As it was very old and leaking and not working properly. Mike and Logan were amazing and extremely professional and had the entire job done by afternoon. It looks fantastic and I have great water pressure!

Repaired a small leak in our Oil Furnace and tuned it. Seems knowledgeable in the workings of a furnace. Replaced a pump that we hope will improve how well it works and more energy efficient.

When Steve came over to assist my family and I with our thermostat issue, he was very professional, informative, and thorough with his troubleshooting. He gave me things to look for, to try, and to continue to monitor in the event that something happens. I’m very grateful for his help and for Staton keeping me informed about my appointment.

We have used W.L. Staton since we bought our home. They are always responsive, know their stuff, keep us apprised of what work needs to be done and why, are transparent about pricing, and explain what's happening as they proceed. The techs who come to our home are always friendly and polite, and Joe was no exception. Very satisfied with the service. 3/14/26: This past week we had Staton replace two aging air-conditioning units in our home with new Bosch heat pumps. Our home was built in 1963, and we know from many previous projects that it sometimes has odd quirks and unpleasant surprises in store for the unwary renovator/installer; so we were nervous about this project, particularly since one of the units to be replaced was tucked away in a very tight area under the roof, accessible only through a small panel located high on a wall in a back closet. But the installation went like a dream. Chip and his team were true professionals--they arrived on time, they were friendly and courteous, they explained everything they would be doing on the walk-through, they protected our floors and carpets (and made sure everything was clean before they left), and they completed the work ahead of the expected schedule. Before leaving, they tested the new system and gave us a little tutorial on how to use the new thermostats. And they also told us that if we had any questions or problems , Chip would be happy to come back out and take care of them for us. We are now enjoying the benefits of the new installation and are totally satisfied with the product and the work done to install it. (And I should mention that we had bids from several companies on this project, and Staton's was not only very competitive initially, but also they worked with use to make the final price one we were comfortable with.) So, to sum up: Staton remains our go-to provider of plumbing and HVAC services.

Highly recommend Staton and Josh! Was able to get a next day appointment for HVAC repair. Josh came out within the scheduled timeframe, called me close to arrival, was very thorough and quickly identified the problem. He then patiently explained everything to me step by step. Repairs were completed quickly, professionally, with respect to my home and property, and did not cost me an outrageous amount. Overall, an excellent experience!
