Traditional (Chemical) Water Softeners were developed in 1938 using resin and salt or potassium chloride for regeneration.
- DOES NOT filter water.
- Requires constant addition of salt or potassium to water.
- Removes vital minerals.

Our HVAC had a leak that we discovered in the wee hours of a hot Sunday morning.
