Traditional (Chemical) Water Softeners were developed in 1938 using resin and salt or potassium chloride for regeneration.
- DOES NOT filter water.
- Requires constant addition of salt or potassium to water.
- Removes vital minerals.

Staton responded quickly to our flooded basement. They set us up with a remediation company that came out same day and returned the next day (when the water had been removed) to replace the sump pump.
