Lead HVAC Technician

If you are an experienced install HVAC technician who takes pride in their work, we want you to work with us! Staton Heating, Cooling & Plumbing has been in business for over 37 years and we are looking for rock stars to grow with our company. We are a 2nd generation family-owned and operated plumbing, heating & cooling company and we are adding new technicians to our team. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of HVAC experience with new installations, replacements and repairs. Must be detail-oriented, dependable, possess a great work ethic and a clean driving record. Salary is based on experience. Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance. 401K with company match. Paid holidays, sick leave and vacation.

We are ideally looking for a professional, career-driven install technician who can also run service calls when not installing equipment. This position is for both commercial and residential applications.

Skills Required

  • Duct fabrication skills

  • Great working knowledge of HVAC install procedures

  • Work well as a team member
  • Have great communication skills
  • Able to use a tablet
  • Valid drivers license and career motivated

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with management on what is needed to complete install work assigned
  • Coordinate with vendors if necessary
  • Meet expected completion timelines
  • Run service calls if not installing equipment
  • Installation of all residential conventional equipment
  • Mini-split installation

A company vehicle, gas card, cell phone and tablet will be provided.

Supplemental Pay

Again, It was an absolute pleasure working with W.L.Staton ( specially Aaron and Jesse!) in installing a new thermostat for our Bosch HVAC unit! They both were right on time, particularly patient and kind in explaining how it works , and making sure we understood how to use it. While installing a new vanity at my house the drain pipe going into the wall disintegrated in my hand. I quickly called Staton and they were able to come in approximately 2 hrs. They repaired and replaced the damaged. And checked the new vanity and old vanity for leaks. I had purchased the yearly maintenance packet and they also checked my water system and flushed the water heater. Two great technicians. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Explained what they were doing and made suggestions as to what else could be done in the house. Highly recommend Staton for you plumbing and HVAC needs.
