If you want to improve the indoor air quality throughout your entire house, a whole house air filter or purification system can clean the air as it passes through your home’s HVAC system. This will remove pollutants from the air throughout your home.

A true whole-house air purifier is built into the HVAC system. It could be as simple as a filter where the air return enters the furnace (which is primarily intended to protect the furnace components from debris, rather than purifying the air), or it could be an electronic system built into the ductwork. To truly be considered a whole-house air purifier, the filter needs to be placed into the airflow in the ductwork of your HVAC system. Maintaining good indoor air quality is crucial to your family’s comfort and health. If you’re concerned about pollutants in your home—or even just fed up with persistent odors—maybe it’s time to clear the air.

The benefits of a whole-house air purification system are many:

  • The air in your house is clean – this is the number one priority. With the help of a purifier, the air you breathe is always safe and healthy.
  • It’s very low maintenance – a whole-house air purifier does not have to be cleaned or replaced and will last for a very long time.
  • Doesn’t need extra space – as the whole-house air purifier goes into the HVAC system itself, it won’t take up any space as many of the individual purifiers do.
  • Runs around the clock – this kind of purifier runs all the time, providing you with non-stop protection.
Maintenance of whole-house air purifiers is minimal. Installation of an air cleaner involves placing a unit between a home’s return air duct and the intake so that air passes through the air cleaner unit, which then removes harmful particles. Prices for air purifiers vary depending on the type of device and its size. However, there is generally an air cleaner available for every budget.

Joe was friendly, efficient and was knowledgeable. He did a great job of showing and explaining the work that needed to be done. Our secondary (kitchen) line needed to be jetted from years of clog and build up. In the end, he also provided clear recommendations for maintenance.

Brandon came out to help fix a potential major pipe leak to our water heater, while making a thorough inspection of our exposed plumbing he uncovered a corrosion leak to our water pressure regulator (yet another possible major disaster) He explained everything and showed all the issues that lead to the pipes leaking. Not only did he make a timely repair but also went through his work to double check for leaks and pressure tested and calibrated the internal water pressure to our home. He was polite and respectful as well as informative with information and helpful hints of things to look for in the future.

We could not be happier with our experience with Staton HC&P, specifically our technician Joe Breig. Staton team was extremely responsive when we needed immediate attention for a leaking water heater. Joe was a consummate professional, who provided us with detailed information on our options and worked diligently to ensure that the work was completed to our satisfaction in the timeline that he provided us. Joe's affable demeanor put us at ease in making such a big decision worth thousands of dollars. We would recommend Joe and Staton team to anyone needing honest and professional work on their water heater installation (and other heating and cooling tasks). Thank you to Joe and Staton team for ensuring that we were happy and satisfied customers!

Tim was timely, professional and thorough in completing an HVAC Fall inspection service. Also had Jeff from Staton who repaired leaky valves leading to the water heater, fixed a shower head fixture and installed a filter under my kitchen sink. Both times the service was A+
