Our experienced technicians at Staton Heating, Cooling & Plumbing can check your well water for pH levels, iron, and mineral content, which can cause long-term damage. We can provide you with the appropriate system if you have tested your water and are looking for well water treatment.

Testing Your Well Water For Iron & PH Level

Detecting iron in water as well as pH level is important since it can cause yellow, red, and brown stains on laundry, dishes, and plumbing fixtures.

Here are some of the common indicators to look for if you are concerned about your well water:

  • It tastes metallic or smells bad
  • Has a discolored appearance
  • Sink or bathtub gets an orange or rusty ring
  • Clothes and dishes stained brown or yellow

Get Well Water Treatment From Staton Heating, Cooling & Plumbing

Well water treatment options vary widely depending on your home’s needs. In addition to removing contaminants from drinking water, water treatment protects plumbing systems from corrosion and can improve the water’s overall taste.

Feel free to contact our team of experts if you need help choosing the right well water treatment system for your home.

Choosing the Right Water Filtration System

Physical barriers are used to remove impurities from water during the filtering process. Among the most common water filtration systems are:

  • A reverse osmosis system uses pressure to force water through a membrane casing. This reduces the concentration of heavy metals, including copper, chromium, and lead, in water.
  • A carbon filter improves the taste and clarity of water by removing certain impurities. Due to its porous nature, activated carbon traps certain particles.

Water Softeners For Well Water Treatment

Water softeners are typically used when filtration systems cannot alter the hardness of the water. By removing the calcium and magnesium ions the water softener decreases the hardness of the well water.

Steve Schulz came to fix my HVAC system today. Professional as can be. Got stung by 3 bees working on my system but not a word of complaint or a change in his demeanor. He was able to do exchange my reverse valve solenoid without replacing the entire reverse valve which saved me good money. Great guys at this company.

FANTASTIC! They were kind, courteous, answered all of my questions, assessed the problem, and fixed it immediately. He also gave me advise on when to replace the sump pump before it goes out since we live above a natural spring. Even the call center people last night and the person who called this morning were also fantastic. Definitely putting on my list as the go to company for plumbing.

Update for additional service: Had my hot water heater replaced today. Fantastic job and service. The Staton service people are wonderful and professional. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone.

Technician Adam Pugatch from W.L. Statton, who did an extraordinary job installing a new a/c coil in my a/c unit located in the attic . He removed the damaged coil and meticulously installed the new one. He cleaned up everything and tested the new system, making sure all repairs were perfect & functioning. He was friendly, polite and knowledgeable about the task at hand. I now have a/c again for which I am extremely grateful. Thank you, Adam!
I highly recommend technician Adam Pugatch of W.L. Statton’s A/C team!
