About Our Company
Since 1983, Staton Heating, Cooling & Plumbing has been providing trusted service to homeowners in Central Maryland.
As a family-owned and operated company, we understand the importance of treating you like family while inside your home. "Family" is also the impetus for our new design that pays homage to our past and present, featuring founder, William L. Staton, and his son and current owner Will F. Staton. Family is such a huge part of who we are, so it only felt right to make this the focus of our brand and position ourselves as the family that takes care of yours.
We are committed to offering you a five-star service experience every time, because here at Staton, we know that building relationships is as significant as the work we do. STATON ORIGIN
In 1983, William. L Staton, Master Plumber and Gasfitter, opened his plumbing company in Anne Arundel County. Since then, Staton has been committed to meeting customers’ needs and providing services that are at a level above and beyond other providers. The goal of the company is to provide people-focused experiences, delivering exceptional heating, cooling, and plumbing solutions to our customers. All Staton work is guaranteed by The Staton Family Promise. The technicians are certified, and the company is licensed, insured and bonded.
William F. Staton, W L.’s son, also a Master Plumber and Gasfitter, assumed the day-to-day operating responsibilities of Staton in 2012, so his dad could enjoy some time off. Since that time, Will F. has exponentially grown the business. The family and team at Staton understood the synergies between plumbing, heating and cooling, so an HVAC division was started in 2021. It has grown by leaps and bounds and enables Staton to provide even more extensive and exemplary service to their customer base. In 2024, the company updated its branding to better reflect the family-oriented service culture they've been providing for over 40 years.

Joseph provided excellent service. He located and repaired a leak behind drywall in our bathroom. We had shut off the water the previous day, and he was able to fix the issue on a Sunday. This really helped us given we were without water over the weekend. He clearly explained his findings and took care to clean up the site. I really appreciate his assistance. Thank you.

The Staton team was amazing to work with on the replacement of my HVAC system. I had contact with a number of people on their team and had a great experience across the board.
They came out quickly the same day when I called about a repair, but as the system was considerably old, they provided some options the same day for replacement of the system plus converting from oil furnace to heat pump. Sales rep (Mike) clearly explained the system options which was helpful as I had little/no knowledge of HVACs.
Rodney, Will, and Justin did an incredible job with the install.
I had questions after the job, and the Staton team was quick to respond back and answer my questions and handle requests.
I will use Staton for all HVAC work in the future and strongly recommend to others.

Mike and Gabe were incredibly knowledgeable and took time to answer any question I had about the work that was getting done and future work I'd like to do.
